Catholics at Work OC is pleased to welcome Author, Radio Host, Catholic Evangelizer Terry Barber of Virgin Most Powerful Radio as our speaker for the next club meeting which will take place Thursday, December 12, 2019, at the Christ Cathedral Cultural Center on the Third Floor. As we quickly approach the 20th anniversary of the Great Jubilee of the Year II – Terry will take a look back as we look forward to what St. John Paul II called the New Springtime in the Church, with his talk entitled Evangelization: Fulton Sheen and John Paul II.
Catholics @ Work OC - Fr. Al Baca
Father Al Baca is the recently named Director for Evangelization and Faith Formation for the Diocese of Orange. Father Al will be joining us for Catholics at Work OC on Thursday, November 14 to share an overview of the recently released Strategic Plan for Evangelization for the Diocese of Orange. Father Al was ordained for the Diocese of Orange in 1989, his pastoral assignments have included St. Columban Parish, St. Cecilia Parish and St. Anthony Claret Parish, as well as service as Diocesan Director of Ecumenism and Inter-Religious Affairs. Most recently, Father has served as the Executive Director of the Office of Ecumenism for the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops, prior to being named to his new position by Bishop Kevin Vann, and returning home to Orange County. Catholics at Work OC is the Orange County chapter of the Santiago Catholic Business Clubs. Austin M. D. Prior to joining Catholic Connect, he served as the Director of Advancement of the Apostolic Vicariate of Northern Arabia, handling all fundraising initiatives in the United States for the Vicariate that included the Kingdoms of Kuwait, Qatar, Bahrain, and Saudi Arabia.
