CLOSING THE GAP BETWEEN FAITH & WORK
Our next Catholics at Work OC prayer breakfast will be Thursday April 9, 2026
Topic for this month's breakfast meeting:
America 250, Catholics in America
As part of our ongoing “America 250 – Catholics in America” speaker series, we are pleased to welcome Mr. Jeff Rice, who will speak on the contributions of the Knights of Columbus since its founding by Blessed Michael McGivney in 1883 and the important role these faithful men have played in helping shape our nation.
Jeff currently serves as the Most Worthy Past Grand Knight and has also held leadership roles as a Past District Deputy and Past Faithful Navigator in the Knights of Columbus, bringing a wealth of knowledge and experience about the Order and its impact on the life of the Church and our country. He is the Past Grand Knight of Council 4922 in Orange, California, serving La Purisima and Holy Family Parishes, and most recently served as the Immediate Past Chapter President for the Orange County Chapter—one of 16 chapters in the California State Council—which supports the entire Diocese of Orange and includes 53 Knights of Columbus councils.
Over the past eight years, Jeff has served as a District Deputy for councils in Garden Grove, Anaheim, and Orange, and currently serves councils in Silverado and Irvine. In addition, he holds several key roles, including Assistant State Membership Director for the Orange Chapter, Orange County Walk for Life Chairman, and Captain of the Christ Cathedral Fourth Degree Assembly, and is slated to become the Faithful Navigator in July.
